jon goldfarb - founder
Jon Goldfarb formed Riverland Builders, LLC in 2005 with the goal of making home building an enjoyable experience for those wanting a new custom home. His ideas were simple: be honest, communicate and most importantly, follow through on promises.
Combine this philosophy with outstanding craftsmanship and the best construction team around, and the results are simple: Clients love the work and love working with Riverland Builders. Jon and his peers strive for and achieve 100% client satisfaction, whether working on a custom home or a new commercial space.
When you work with Riverland Builders you get one-on-one attention and hands-on project management. A trained professional is on site every day to ensure that your project comes in on budget, on time and has the highest quality construction standards.
In addition to extensive real estate and business experience, Jon has a law degree from Tulane University and an undergraduate degree from The Citadel.
joey hager - project manager
Joey Hager joined Riverland Builders in April 2020 after working for several years in the building supply industry.
His construction career originated as an AmeriCorps member, building homes with Sea Island Habitat for Humanity of Johns Island after college. Having seen the construction industry from multiple angles, he is excited to be putting his experience to work in the field.
Joey grew up in Maryland and relocated to Charleston after graduating from the University of Maryland. Now living on James Island with his wife Sarah and son Thomas, he is excited to connect with clients by bringing open, honest dialogue to each project and taking pride in communicating details with clarity.

Residential: New Construction
We specialize in residential custom home construction. Our role as general contractor is to guide the client through every phase of construction from the first shovel of dirt to the final touch of paint. Our partnership with quality sub-contractors ensures the project progresses on schedule. We offer recommendations at each phase that make certain the project remains within the itemized budget.
Commercial: Upgrades & New Construction
We offer commercial upfit services and remodeling. In some cases we will also build new commercial buildings. Upfit services include remodeling, upgrades, or retrofitting and major usage changes.
